As a logical consequence, companies from the IT, healthcare and consumer staples sectors are clearly preferred over capital-intensive and highly regulated sectors such as airlines, finance, utilities and energy. Some of these sectors had structural problems long before the COVID 19 shock, as is the case with the airline sector. Others, however, have actually been able to expand their positioning currently. One example is Synopsis, a very successful company in the semiconductor design software sector, which is experiencing a real boost from digitization. With this investment style, it has been possible to achieve alpha in every region since launch.
